I had my curiosities about the Mother's PowerBall polishing system they came out with recently, and thought I'd give it a try today.
I bought both the PowerBall Mini, and the big PowerBall so I could polish larger areas (like fuel tanks) easier.
After cleaning the 9-year-old 15" X 10" aluminum rims on my pickup with dish soap & water, I let them cool a bit while I loaded the Powerball Mini into the chuck of my trusty Milwaukee 1/4" drill.
I applied some Mothers Aluminum Polish to the PowerBall Mini & got to work.
The PowerBall Mini did a good job (went over each of my pickup's 4 rims twice, and was done in an hour). They look MUCH BETTER than they did before, but next time I polish anything I think I would like to have it acid-washed immediately before I try to polish it.
Pretty soon, I will get my assigned '06 Century Class washed & get the tanks hit with acid before I polish them. We'll see how it turns out!
