It has been over a year now since I decided to get out of the ever-changing Owner-Operator business & sell my beloved '98 International Eagle 9400, known by many as "The Battle Cruiser".

While I have no regrets about getting out of the owner-operator biz, I do miss my truck pretty often.

A few of these photos have been posted before, but I'll put in a few more.

My old truck.....after almost 1,000,000 miles still cleaned up pretty nice...

My sleeper, with a real Navajo rug for decoration.................

The conveniences of home- a dormitory-sized refrigerator & a microwave that fit in there very well.

A view of my "cockpit" from the bunk...............

My comfy aftermarket seats.................

I loved that dash, complete with factory chrome gauge bezels, and aftermarket A/C vents to replace those crappy factory vents......

Some decal work on the back of my sleeper..........

....and my doors, which never got blown off! :harhar:

Yep, I'm a pack-rat! All of that stuff fit in my bunk storage without taking space on my bed! :)

Giving U.P.S. a helping hand at Christmas time in '04..........

You wanted me to pull HOW MANY TRAILERS????????

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/captchaos/100_0562.jpg

My last trailer & load I pulled before I got home, removed the decals, and all of my stuff.

....And the last time I saw "The Battle Cruiser" in person after I got my payment in cash & handed the title & keys to the new owner.

From what I have been told, the owner & the driver he assigned it to are both very happy with the truck, and it has continued to run strong with over 1,000,000 miles on the original Detroit engine that I did several performance modifications on while I had it. :)

Capt, you must have had one big a$$ inverter on there to power the amp for your electric guitar!

Nice truck though, spotless, tanks & wheels all polished up, pretty!

Not really. It looks like that is either a Marshall MG30DFX, or a Marshall MG50DFX. 30 watts and 50 watts respectively. Less than 1 amp for either of them.

No tubes to warm up, so no load draw when turning it on. Even the most simple inverter would run this setup.

It was a pretty pink truck! :p

I had the pleasure of riding in it a few times, and I liked it! :D

It is too bad he had to let it go, but I can tell you all he is a much happier person now without having to deal with all that stuff! :lover:

My amp (a Marshall VS30R, if I remember right) & effects system (a DigiTech RP2000) actually worked off of a small 300-watt inverter with no problems. I did have a 2,500-watt inverter in that truck to run the microwave, refrigerator, laptop & printer, TV, VCR, and DVD player- most of that stuff all at the same time!

Thanks! I like to take pride in whatever I drive- even company trucks I have been in were kept up the same way. :)
