Hartford police auction goes on Web
Hartford Lost, stolen and forfeited property being held by the Hartford Police Department will now be available for sale online at Propertyroom.com, the department has announced.
PropertyRoom.com, owned by a California company, sells items found or seized by more than 700 police departments in 41 states and has more than 500,000 registered users, the company says.
The Washington County Sheriff's Department and police departments from West Bend, New Berlin and Greenfield, among others, also put items up for sale on the site.
Hartford, which is in western Washington County and extends into Dodge County, is one of the fastest growing communities in southern Wisconsin.
A lot of interesting things. ;)
