We got our new son Saturday

We adopted from Bull dog rescue. We had to drive 600 miles round trip to pick him up.

He gose in Wednessday for surgery for a ACL. It is a torn lig. Supposed to be pretty invasive and takes 6 weeks of theropy.

The sugery cost 900 bucks by it self. He needs it. The old owners wife hit him with a broom.

This is one very nice sweet dog. He is in pain, we will get him fixed up.

Oh my gosh, that is one sweet face!! While I'm owned by shih tzu, bull dogs are one of my other favorites. Good for you for the adoption and taking on the responsibility of the surgery and rehab. Please keep us posted on how he's doing and of course MORE PICTURES PLEASE!! :D

He is a big baby. He has his little problems. Like eatting dust busters. The guy said he did not like them. I thought he ment while in use. I did not realize he hunts for them and once he finds them he gose into attack mode.

Our dust buster is dead.

His acl turned out to include a broken knee. looks like he was hit with something.

Old boy is doing great. He is a boy but not old. He is 2.5 years.

They normaly only get 8 years if lucky.

He is very mean to any one but the wife and I and the vet. He loves going to the vet.

If you are afraid of him. He will hurt you.

The vet we use is not afaid of dogs. She sets them straight.

He is a great dog. Best friend ever. Dosn't beg for anything but attention.

ANYONE come close to his grass or garden ot touch HIS fence. He gose all out to get them.

Now, off HIS property he is fine. Lovey dovy unless you drop his lease.

He has come to learn he has lots of areas to watch.

Guy in town that raises very tame pit bulls. Came by to help my dog learn to play.

We figured the church yard would be good. Off his yard.

We were wrong.

His dogs are way to nice. My dog was ready to play. His was ready to play nice and laid down.

My dog saw this as a kill area. Bring the prize to the owner.

He wanted to kill that dog. He knew that dog was scared.

That dogs owner is not scared. He is like me. Screw the dog give me the stiches.

My dog rolled on his back to be petted for him. The only person that can touch my dog. Is not scared of him (other then the wife). I fear for the person that ever breaks into my home.

The vet says the same thing. If you are afraid of the dog. They will get you. You have to be ready to kill the dog.

To us he is the nices dog ever. We addopted him. We walked in for the worst. We got a great animal. That has had the best training. he took to us like he knew us for years.

The problem with English Bull dogs. Once they are set to go. They go. They will kill them selves. Just to get the job done.

They feel no pain, till it is over. Even then they walk away limping with no pain.

We have also found this dog loves soccor balls. He loves them.

He can hear a kick for 2 blocks.

He will play with a ball nice it is nothing. He is a great goalie.

6 year old kid plays ball with him.

She has like 30 soccor balls. He stands in the net and she kicks them.

He loves it. She is not afraid of the "killer dog" He loves her to death.

She has balls.

Kid next door 24 years old. This dog wanted to eat him. He climbed the fence to get to him.

He was scared. He came to me one night and said that dog hates me because I am scared. I told him I know.

He said put him on a lease on the deck with 2 feet from us.

I did we set and drank. Hand our fun time. Kid grabbed a stick. Dog went off. Big time sound. He gave a end to the dog. They played tug o war. Dog was having a great time.

By this time after a few treats and some deli meat and about 20 beers the kid was feeling ballsie.

He set right on the ground and startted playing with the dog. The dog would grawle. He would growle. They really startted getting into it. They were getting it done. He and the dog were having a great time.

This dumb ass threw the stick and stuck his arm in the dogs mouth. I was a little worried. I know his dad and all, but due not want to hurt any one.

The dog played nice. While he got on all 4's and made noises and let him pull on the flannel.

It was all fun, My dog made a new friend and he only was bleeding a little. The poor kid had some minor scraps. The dog some bloody gums from the stick.

Most was from the accidental surges. The dog was playing. He didn't want to hurt him. Just play. Those dang canine teeth are sharp and long.

It really supprised alot of folks this kid would do this. He is the wimp of them all.

He ran from Coyoe barks hunting.

This kid was so affroaid of dogs it was not funny.
