What are some of your favorite shows?

Have you seen anything really weird lately while out and about?

When I'm at a place with cable, I love watching Discovery or History... Of course last time I was stuck watching TV, I ended up having either watch shows on home makeovers or shipwrecks. I chose shipwrecks but after watching what seemed like the 20th ship wreck story, I found something else to watch...

Normally I end up watching NBC, with shows like Law and Order, ER and others, besides I usually catch Leno too...

I love the Discovery Channel, especially American Chopper. I also like Myth Busters and Monster Garage. I will seriously miss NYPD Blue (sniffle, sniffle).

I think the Discovery Channel needs to do a weekly show called "American Trucker"! It would be a reality/documentary show based around life on the road as an O/O. What do you guys & gals think?

Not a bad idea at all! It can focus on the different segments as well... One week, The Owner Operator, next the Local delivery guy, then the LTL guys, Then Expediters, and eventually your fleet guys (JB HUnts and Schneider), get it? Regardless it'd be interesting thats for sure. It's still a take care of your own kinda industry, something the rest have seemed to have forgeten about (IMO)...

My favorite show is LOST on ABC.
I also watch ER and any of the Law and Order shows.

We live in the boonies and don't have cable or satellite, so it's all local stations and any Canadian stations that bounce over the lake!

I don't watch much tv, but if I can tuen it in while on the road, I like to watch;

CSI
CSI Miami
CSI New York

NCSI

JAG (not just because of Catherine Bell :drool: )

Desperate Housewives

Mostly I watch movies (DVD) in the truck. I have a small collection of movies that I could watch over and over. My next 'set' is Band of Brothers on DVD. I have it on VHS, but I no longer have VHS in the truck.

Other movies I want to get are;

Blazing Saddles
The 'Lonesome Dove' series (all 4 movies)
Any John Wayne westerns
Convoy
