Exercise Equipment Used On The Road- Deductible?

Some OTR guys (like myself) carry exercise equipment in the truck with us.

I have carried hand weights & other items with me for years.

I bought a nice Mongoose mountain bike in '06. Can the bike & other related items be deducted?

Sorry Capt. for not getting back to you sooner,

but this is not a deductible item, and the IRS will not allow them,
