my dad builds miniature steam locomotives (5"= 1 ft scale) from scratch-takes a set of drawings and machines the parts.

:yikes: .....5"=1' is still a pretty good size train...not one you can put under the Christmas Tree.... :rofl:

I know how steam trains work; I also know that air brakes were originally invented for use on trains by George Westinghouse ;)
