Saturday my youngest son Casey was awarded his Eagle Scout rank at a Court of Honor for him and another boy.
Casey built a wildlife rehabilitation building at a vet clinic near us. It is a 24x30 shed with 2 chain link pens inside for smaller animals and birds to recuperate in before being set back into the wild.
It was quite a accomplishment for him, and he follows his older brothers footsteps with this acheivement. His brother Shane earned his Eagle Scout rank in 1997.
The only thing that would have made the day better is if Shane could have been here to watch his brother join him in this ceremony but as many of you know Shane is in Baghdad serving with the US Air Force.
My boys, I am very proud of them both, and needed to brag about them too!! :D :cheers:
