Thought I'd post a pic of him since I asked for help!! He's such a good dog. Not much of a guard dog (though he's proved he doesn't like people in uniforms!)but he's a good watch dog. If there's anything out of the norm he lets us know right away.

His name is Muggs. I rescued him from the pound a few years ago. One more day and he'd have been put to sleep, as he's extremely hyper and no one thought they could handle him!!

He's a Cairn Terrier, the same as Toto off the Wizard of Oz. He gets called Toto a lot though as you can see he's blonde instead of black like the real Toto!

He's actually a sweetheart!! Full of love and spunk! Almost 6 years old now and he's still got all the "puppy" in him! He has become very attached to both of us even though I got him before Goofy and I even met. He's now definately a "daddy's puppy"!!

He's a real cutie!

He has a very alert, intelligent look on his face.

Nice dog and good picture!

(:crying: I miss my 'little girl')

He's smarter than most think!!

He can "count" to three...........we say count to 3 and he barks 3 times!!

He knows to bring us his sweater when he's cold.

He knows certain words so we now have to spell them out, and one word we started spelling he's figured out. (treat)

And he knows when there is donuts in the truck!

I had a Cairn years ago named Scrappy.Very intelligent dog(most terriers are)very hyper,as you pointed out.Not big enough to be a deterrent type guard dog but a great watch dog.

This breed loves to dig and that is how mine met his demise.Dug out of the backyard and was hit by a car.

He was'nt killed but fractured both back legs................I spent almost $1200.00 at the vet only to have him go into cardiac arrest when he came out of the anestesia(sp) and die.
