FOP sticker question?

Having a little sticker on your vehicle for the Fraternal Order of Police.
Will this make the officer give you a break or act nicer to you?

Personally, I don't think so, but someone else seems to think it will.

Maybe it's just me, most of the cops around here seem to be nice anyhow.
Oops, now that I've said that I hope I don't run into Mr or Ms grouchy soon.

I can't speak for every area of the country but I can tell you when I lived in Louisville, Ky. at one time in the 80's & 90's it would if nothing else encourage the officer to be a little more personable or friendly.

There were many a instance where me or the misses would be asked if we belonged to the FOP or who we knew.

Did it ever "HELP" can't say for sure but would like to think it did.

For $25 a year it is worth the plate tag and the party's, not to mention it goes towards "special projects" and family causes for the FOP.
