A couple weeks ago, my daughter, her b/f and his daughter (she's a 3 year old sweetie), were here at the Redneck Ranch.
I was camped out on the couch watching Desperate Housewives when Veronica (the 3 year old sweetie), came up to me with some toy or something in her hands and said, "Grampa.................................." :yikes:
That's ALL I heard! The rest of the words were 'lost'.....just went sailing over my head.
I was told that I blushed. :yikes:
I think they're lying. :p ;)
I did however, feel 'proud'. :ninja:
Why?
Because for the longest time, Veronica seemed to be 'afraid' of me and very shy towards others.
This time though, she caught me completely off guard. In fact, she probably could've knocked me over with a feather. :wow:
At 45, I feel that I'm 'too young' to be a 'Grampa', but man........my heart swelled with pride that evening.
Dave; Must be getting 'soft' in my old age. ;) :ninja:
