I personally think it is silly to define our country in red/blue. I think that it was an ingenious public relations move by the republicans to initiate it. I think the democrates lost because they underestimated the relgious right. Furthermore, if the so-called blue state politicians were so smart, they would have felt and recognized the religious right under currents! ie GAYS, GUNS and GOD! That is why the democrates lost in my opinion.

Nancy, the Democrats lost because they just don't get it. They don't understand that good people in this country are fed-up with the "anything goes" mentality of Hollywood and the Democrats. When Kerry said at a Hollywood fundraiser, an event where Whoopy Goldberg pointed at her crotch in reference to the President, that: "this group represents the heart and soul of America" he set in motion his own defeat. The average, hard working, bill paying family have had it up to their eyeballs with the garbage peddling Hollywood elite and the half truth telling media. I thank God for raising-up voices like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, etc. They are the the ones raising the standard and calling the vast liberal media to the carpet over their half truths and convenient omissions of relevent information. (eg. Dan Rather and his report that used forged documents in an effort to bring down a sitting President during a time of war!)

As far as I'm concerned, the Democrats can keep on not gettin' it. As long as they don't they will continue to be a diminishing influence in America.

Boy, Preacher said a MOUTHFUL! This country has been on a steady downhill slide, only slowing that slide when conservitism can get its head above water. Democrats and other liberal groups have no REAL agenda, other than, FORCING their views on all others. Real freedom is their worst nightmare. Their weapons of war, are fear, half truths, outright lies, and misdirection. They force their idea of abuse into law, and then blame parents, when the kids are out of control. They make industrial progress a nightmare, and then cry when companies move to places where they can operate profittably. Cheap labor is not the only reason our companies go to other countries! They force their, anything goes, moral views into the mainstream, and divorce rates skyrocket.
In short, they have NO redeeming qualities!
