VACATION

Thank God, vacation.
But I'm gonna stay at home. There is a lot to do in the garden. Have to go to the doctor to do a physical examination.
Just to stay in a good health.

Where do you spend your vacation?

This yr. will be in Aug. I'll be going to the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit on Fri. & Sat. Then head to the track for the race. On Monday I'll be heading to IN to hook up with some dear friend's. I'll spend a few day's with them, then head to Buffalo to spend the weekend with some more dear friend's. Then home. In the fall, I'll be flying to Nova Scotia, to see my new grandchild that is due this week.

I would love to have a cottage & just have everyone come to me.

for me its gonna be a week in early fall to the mountains to see the leaves turn and to visit some friends who just opened a motel in the area.

Week of the 4th of July I go up north. My sister is getting married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in November, so I'm going to spend a few days there, also.

And here I always thought that most folks in Germany took vacation in August...................I say that because when I lived in Spain.......Barcelona,Tossa De Mar(Costa Brava) the beach resorts along the Catalan coast were full of folks from Germany...............many fond memories of staying out to the break of dawn,drinking beer with the Alemanes.

Absolutely delightful people......full of laughter and a love of life.

Wish I could say the same about the Brits..................obnoxious.

My folks still live there(Barcelona) and will head for Tossa in a couple of weeks.

The time of vacation depends of the school vacation. This time is different in every state of the ec and its also different i.e. in the states of Germany.
And when you don't have children you can take your vacation whenever you want it. The only thing you have to care for is, the boss must say yes to it.
The Brits are very nice people for the time they stay on the island. But when they leave it..... You did that experiences.

My vacation will be starting in less than 12 hours. Pretty ridiculous, since I just got back to work after a couple of months off. But I picked it, so I got it.

Not gonna be able to go anywhere, though. Just kick back and relax, I guess. :D

First week is over. Ran 3times to the dentist, horrible but helpful people.
Have to go there next week and the week after this another 3 times. But then its over. And my vacation are over as well.
But then I can smile again and say "cheese".
The weather isn't that good as it was during the soccer word champion chip last year. Rain, cloudy rain and a few sunshine. So the garden has to wait.
But the main thing is, I do not need to drive and I'm still with my wife spending the evening watching tv.

On sunday we gonna have brunch at a horse stable at a barn festival.

Will be going to Virginia Beach the 1st full week of August. Cold beer, a beach chair, my Sirius radio,and a good pair of dark sunglasses for viewing the "beach scenery". (The glasses aid in avoiding those vollies of punches to the arm from the better half when I oogle the scenery :rofl: ) :cheers:

Be glad you're not vacationing in Spain(clothing optional beaches).........sunglasses would be the least of your worries................preventing momma from cutting your "doo dads" off would become the priority :yikes: :rofl: :rofl: (.)(.)
