For all the flatbedders out there, I know the stuff on the trailer is strapped wrong. I didn't do it. Plus this was taken back in my younger days, lol.

hmmmmmmm.......... i cant really tell if its wrong or not.................
not to get too analytical, but it all depends on the weight of the load, and the strength rating of the straps............... and also how long each bundle of that material is..............
but you know what???????? i'm just gonna shaddup now...................
all i'm gonna say is "Nice pics!!!!!"

Looks like a load of foam board..................super lightweight.4X8 units............two straps is plenty.Looks like the straps are outside of the rub rails but here in Texas no one says anything about that.(DOT)Its all wrapped in plastic so chunks ain't gonna be blowing off...........corner protection in place.I'd yank her down the road without a second thought.
And Dave's right..................I've grown pretty fond of Mack in the last couple of years.
Driving a 2007 Pinnacle Daycab currently....................54,000 miles so far without a hiccup.

Thanks for the compliments!!! and nice looking Pinnacle
My vision is a 2000 with 866000 miles. Fully loaded. 460hp+
Yea, it's foam. 8 mgs
Here is a family picture that I took last year before I dolled the vision up. The silver superliner is the newest project truck and now sports a 315 inch wheel base. That, the rs mode, and the chevy are my daddy's toys.

While I was out and about today I caught this image over at Bowmanville, Ont. in the Truckstop of a full load of architectural stone on a Super"B"Train out of Michigan.

Then a little further along the Baseline is this restored 1942 Dodge Fuel Tanker owned by Harrison Fuels. It only needed a paint job and some engine overhauling!

After posting it on the UK site I then noticed it does not even have clearance lights and the exhaust plus muffler are front mounted. This was mfg in the middle of WW2 when equipment was developed to the degree it is today. This turn signal was your arm extended out the window, straight out for left and crooked up at the elbow for right! Post WW2 as a kid I remember the first signal arm was a white lever on a post that had a pull cord plus some yellow reflector bezels on it.

Cool looking dodge. My grandad had one of those with a flat bed on the back.
