I tried Easy Trucking last qtr and it did ok as far as the IFTA and stuff, but the areas for maintenance are lacking. Am looking at Truckers Helper but haven't done much with it, seems to have the same IFTA features plus the maintenance part looks better. Other than that do books on quick books.

I have the truckers helper and it is fixin to go in the trash can.
Personaly I have found it better to keep records with microsoft office.
I made spread sheets for every thing and keep very close records that way. I have one for Maint, Fuel, Mileage, and Pay. I also use it to keep my log book with.
I log every stop, drop or pick up, customer, address for the customer, Time date mileage for that load and BOL#.
I just put a short cut on the desk top and bang thar she blows.
I make reminders for maint. Brake checks and service. I even keep track of expenses.
At the end of the month I put it on a disk as well as print it out and at the end of the year I just hand the disks to the tax guy and tell him to do his thing.
Not saying this is what you should do but it works for me.

I do everything on spreadsheets. There just is no good software out there that takes care of everything.
Trouble with spreadsheets as opossed to a database system is that you do not have the automatic notifiers. Have to pull up spreadsheets and check them periodically.
