My name is John and I live in Dayton, Ohio which is very cold at the moment.
I was a photographer in the USAF from 1959-71 when I decided to get out. I worked in the photo industy for over 20 years (mostly as a lab tech) and decided to try the truck driving gig. I drove for 9.5 years and retired when I turned 62. And no, I have no desire to get back into a truck.
I'm divorced but was married for 28 years and have three kids and three grandkids. Too bad they all live out of state as I don't get to see them as much as I'd like. My youngest daughter has been in the Navy for over 15 years and is making a career out of it, of course. She's stationed in San Diego right now.
My main hobby is history with a big emphasis on the Civi War and I donate to several Civil War organizations.
In case anyone is wondering, I'm 66 years old.
That's about it. Not very exciting but that's life.
