I heard a few tid bits about some schemes going on in the truck stops again.. I do not believe this has been mentioned....but DON'T DO IT. Believe me... :vmad: I was taken about 25 yrs ago...Yes, I was green....But the guy told me I could double my money! "There was a great card game going on in the back of the truck stop, lots of drivers winning"...........( Damn, double my money...!!!!! :yikes: )..... As soon as I gave that guy the money............................................. It was bye-bye!!!!!!!!! Yeah..I was green, young....
But the moral of the story.....DO NoT GO for any TRUCK STOP SCAM....
REGARDLESS, how good it sounds....

The gold trinkets, watches, perfumes, cameras, etc.............................go to Walmart and keep the receipt!....

Those "black market" crooks are still out there today selling this crap! They are not even supposed to be on truck stop property without the permission of the management!

Besides, when something is bought under those conditions, there is no warranty involved, so if you buy it and it doesn't work, then chances are, you're screwed! :angry:

I'm willing to pay a bit more for something I need if I get a warranty, but I won't hardly ever buy it at a truck stop due to it being overpriced, or if it was something that was in the back row, hell no!

We're all trying to save a few bucks, but wisdom will help you save more of itin the long run!
