I have seen them but have never tried one. Don't know how they would work in a daylight scenario. Would be good in low light however.

Don't know how they would work in a daylight scenario.
A couple weeks ago when I went to the range, we were talking to the owner and he had one set up on a demo gun in the display case.

The gun shop is pretty well lit (like any store is), and we asked him how it would work in 'daylight'. He pulled it out of the case and said, "Here, try it."

At about 75', it made a 'silver dollar sized' spot on the wall.....plainly seen.

In daylight situations, I can see the low-profile sights on my M1911A1 pretty well. It's the light conditions of the indoor range and low light conditions that I have trouble seeing them.

I hate getting old. :mad:
