I found this exercise regimen (http://health.msn.com/fitness/mens-fitness/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100202467&GT1=31036) that can be used on the road with a pair of dumbbells.

In addition to what is shown in the link, one can also do the following:

*Side bends (with one dumbbell per side at a time) to tone the mid-section.

*Seated leg lifts (while holding a dumbbell between the feet) to tone & strengthen the abdominal group.
