Does anyone know what kind of benefits, perks, or whatever you'd call them the ANG gives new recruits? Also, we'd like to know if a recruit can be deployed at any time after finishing boot camp.

Since you didn't specify any particular state... :p

Yes, a 'recruit' can be deployed once he/she has finished their schooling.

OK Dave, so how about the so called higher education benefits? Can someone be deployed if they are in college (tuition compliments of them)?
We're questioning what one recruiiter is telling the kiddo. He insists she can't be deployed if she is in college. We're not too sure about that.

As long as the 'service member' is enrolled in 'higher education', they most likely won't be deployed.
Maybe check out the Air National Guard websites. ;)
