We've been overhauling a set of pond drainages this week and since we got all the dirt moved to build them back up to working level that leaves the mexican part ,ya know "manuel labor". At 106 degrees it don't take long to hurt a fat feller like me .I made it to 10 this morning before chills set in an the boss told me to get my azz home before I fell out on him!!! I'll be glad when the next job starts so me an "big Sug" can get back in our trucks and haul dirt under an A/C.:cool:

It's a good thing you've got a good boss that would rather see you avoid getting heat stroke, instead of a boss that would suggest you "git 'er done" even if it meant a trip to the hospital.

Even though we don't get 106 degree temps here, there are plenty of days in the summer when I'm in coveralls working on something out in the sun, and sweating bullets.

Keep yourself well hydrated Beetle, and it's good that you know your limits.

We don't want to see Margie posting on here that you're in intensive care due to heat stroke!

Exactly!!! Please be careful and make sure to keep plenty of fluids in you if you're in that kind of heat! I've seen way too much heat stroke years ago as an EMT. It's not a fun thing to deal with.
