Its 80 degrees here in the North East with High humidity....I'm under my 3rd load since monday, and I'm sweating my azz off...
Got an offer, to take a load next Thursday, to El Paso.........The money is still not yet where I need it to be, and I'm kind of hoping , that she wont pay that, so I dont have to go.......I'm going to have to hire a water truck to run behind me, as I need to quench my thirst every 5 minutes...
Hey Cap!!!!!...If I do go, I'm going to stop and let you buy me, whatever it is you'all eat down there..

You're considering going to El Paso??? :yikes: We need to have another management meeting. :) I hope you nail 'em hard, if you think S FL is bad, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Let me know if you go, I'll call all my gov't people and see if anything can be shaken out of White Sands/Ft Bliss.

Let me figure out the extra milage, that I would have to drive, then figure in the aggravation, of dealing with Wisconsin drivers, then I'll let you know.....
I could give you a ride for around 80 cents a mile, seeing how you would be like a partial....
If I have to pick Dave up along the way, then I would have to charge a full load rate... :toughcrowd:

HBT, if you can get a rate good enough to make you a nice profit and be able to afford to deadhead home, then go for it!
I can tell you that the freight rates out of El Paso are "in the toilet", but at least there's no humidity in El Paso when you unload!
Seriously, if I were you, I would book a load out of Texas before committing to the one going to El Paso.
You might be able to book a good-paying load out of Laredo going home! That way, you still get to come to San Antonio without going out-of-route. If I remember correctly, El Paso to Laredo is roughly a 550-mile deadhead.
Landstar has a terminal in Laredo, and you might be able to check on their rates on what they broker out of there.
