Say you are in the process of being pulled over by your friendly LE Officer. Under what circumstances would you have to be under to try and run?
For example, if I had warrants for a murder charge I would try and run.
So how about you guys, what would it take?

I did it once, back in the day, when I was 18.
Driving down a country road, speeding just a bit. As I come up over a little hill, sure enough, theres an officer coming towards me. I looked in my rearview mirror only to see him flip the lights and make a Uturn in the road! Yep, the dumb blonde in me decide to floor it and try to out run the officer!
Out running him didn't work. When I explained to him what my reason was, he found it kind of funny and only gave me a speeding ticket. After he told me all the tickets I could have received, I vowed never to do something that stoopit again!!!
My reason, I didn't want to suffer the wrath of my dad!! :yikes:

I guess it would take having warrants for serious violent crimes, or having large amounts of drugs in the car to make me run. But seeing's how I've never committed a violent crime (or any other for that matter) and don't use/sell drugs, not something I worry about.
If the lights come on behind me, I'm pulling over and getting ready to say a whole lot of Yes Sir (Ma'am) and No Sir.

If I saw that it wasn't a legitimate LEO, then I'd run, call 911 and let a real officer handle it.
They had a problem in California with "imposter officers" years ago. and from what I heard, it was almost impossible to tell them apart from the real CHP officers.
I have (and still do) own some very fast cars, but I know it would still be downright stupid of me to try and run from a cop, especially since I don't have a criminal record. Besides, any kind of a chase puts the safety of too
many people at risk.

the cb is faster than any car u will ever drive.so in my opinion u will almost always get caught.i personally would never run no matter what the circumstances,if they dont catch u that time they will more than likely catch u some other time and u will be in even more trouble than u woulda been in in the first place--so why not stop.also if u run and they catch u the first time u are still in trouble even more than if u woulda stopped in the first place.just my thoughts.
