Went to the range Sunday to do a bit of practicing.

Thought you might like to see these targets.

#1 is standing facing target, 10 yards, firearm holstered and hands at shoulder level. At the horn draw and fire. Must be done in under 5 seconds ---my time 4.92seconds.

108

#2 is from the bench at 20 yards slow fire.
109

Both were done with my 1911a1 shooting a 200 grain semi wad cutter bullet at 980 ft.per sec.

Fastest gun in Kelowna? :bravo:

Good shooting! You oughta post one on the front door and one on the back door of your house. You know.......as a deterrent. :devil[1]:

Actually on target #1 -- I am told that my first 3 were all in the black and it was my later shots that rose a little... Still 8 rounds in a 3 inch group in under 5 seconds is pretty fair shooting for an old guy. Mind you this is drawing from my competition holster --- would be a little slower from my shoulder holster (carry rig). Also these are full house rounds not wimpy target loads.

Don't want to scare the bad guys away Dave. Let them in and then show them I know how to handle the problem.
