The last two days I was hauling clay to a municipal job. They had to line this pond with clay and compact it as it sprung a leak to the point of the neighbors sump pumps running 24/7. They pumped it down and dozed the slop to the far end, then started dozing the clay in which pushed the rest of the water down to the pumps. Luckily I missed out on the muck hauling.
You can tell it is a municipal job by all the people standing around watching.

Yes, that is a laborer standing in the water. He is keeping the pump inlets clean and rescuing any fish he happens upon. The homeowners association was concerned about the little fishies, so they promised to transfer all they could to another pond. Most got transfered by the pumps, but I don't think that is what the homeowners had in mind.
