View Full Version : Carry a firearm in the truck?

A quick look at this might do ya some good.

For example, I entered the states for a trip from MN to TX (going down to Joplin and sneaking into OK without going through KS). Iowa is the only state that does not honor my 'carry permit'. In other words, if an Iowa LEO stops me, my truck were searched and my handgun is found in my holster, transporting a handgun in ways other than Iowa decided is 'legal', I could be in trouble if caught.

As you know, laws concerning concealed weapons can get kinda 'sticky' if you end up using it to defend yourself.

Thanks Dave,

Been looking for something like this. Trying to figure out how to legally carry in NE and KS for trips to TX. Not any good options except carrying open and I don't really want to go that route.
