I am a BIG NEWBIE,I dont even start training for Star until august.I have put a few posts in here and gotten some answers too, for those of you that were able to help me...I thank you.I want to aslo say thanks to whomever is responsible for making this site.I have spent the last few days pouring over all the different posts.I read the questions and realize I should have asked the same thing, whats most impressive though is the amount of experienced drivers that come here to help people like me find out the do's and dont's before we have to learn the hard way.I have not read all the posts here yet and I have only had a few drivers reply to my posts but I want to thank ALL the drivers here for the posts that they leave because the information you are giving out is priceless for us newbies.THank you all for the lessons.

I didn't give you any information, but alot of the drivers in here have a year or more experience and they have learned through trial and error on what not to do and to do.

Ask all the questions you want to know, because we are here to help you out.

Remember, if you don't like your trainer for any reason request a new trainer. If he/she snores or picks their nose you might have to deal with that.

You are going to be on the road protecting millions of people including yourself. You have to make the right choice.

Be safe and courteous

Just remember this: The ONLY stupid question is the one you DIDN'T ASK, so like I would tell every other newbie in here, don't be afraid to approach us with anything you're not sure about! We're always glad to help, as we all know what it's like to learn a new trade.

After over 1,000,000 miles under my belt, I still find myself asking questions too, so consider a career in trucking as a constant learning process!

Just remember to ALWAYS put your safety (and that of others) above everything else, as your families will always await your safe return home!
