Last Tuesday I stopped at Sioux City Pete to have a low coolant light checked out and fixed.

While there, they hooked up the computer to my truck and ran the diagnostics & troubleshooting to see what code showed up so they'd know where to look first.

Anyways, I had the mechanic print out info off my ECM. To be honest, I was quite surprised at what I saw.

I have a 3406E Cat rated at 455hp & 1650 lb. ft. of torque.

Here's some of the results.........

Overall fuel economy.........5.97 mpg
Driving fuel economy.........6.40 mpg
% idle time.......................56%
Avg. vehicle speed............29.3 mph
Avg. driving speed............66.3 mph

These readings are from the day they reset my ECM after my inframe was completed and they were loading the parameters into the ECM. That was over 4 1/2 years ago.

HA!!! Funny guy. :p

Keep in mind that I do A LOT of LTL work.....meaning LOTS of 2 lanes & city driving..........PLUS I haven't been west of Grand Island NE for the last year. That means (usually), a lot of 45, 55, 60 & 65 mph speed zones. :harhar:
