11 hours is quite a long day for most people, no doubt!

As far as trucks parking on the entrance ramps, whether it's illegal will depend on what state you're in- some allow it, and some don't.

I don't recall ramp parking being illegal in Wisconsin anyway, unless someone can correct me on it.

Many states in the midwest have some very nice rest areas. Unfortunately, Wisconsin did shut down some of theirs a few years ago.

Indiana and Virginia are two states it is illegal to park on the ramps.

Several states will pretty much turn a blind eye on it so long as the truck is on the get on ramp and completely off the travel portion of the road.

yes it is especially when not used to doing it.When i hit the bunk lights out.
I am buying a cooler the trainer bought one, it keeps pop at a nice tempeture. I bought a lunch box to heat small stuff up.I bought a 12 volt pot to heat water i can have my coffee now. I did get better at shifting,This will give me some valuable experience I am going to get good than fast. Well i get to learn about chicago next week i think. All the trucks i seen were only parked on the ramps at night so were gone by morning. well i get to rest up and do over next week.

If I absolutely have to, I will park on an on-ramp. Never an off-ramp, though. But it doesn't help much; I can't get good sleep for worrying about someone crashing through my sleeper.
