Our Pom, Marshall is a certified cat hater. He and Capt. Chaos would get along just fine. :D

One of his fave games is "Get the kitty". He used to share the house with a hellcat named Fiki who ruled the roost. Their relationship was ambivalent at best and Gray Wolf agitated things along by "sicing" Marsh on her to watch them run thru the house.

When Marsh started riding on the truck 5 yrs ago he apparently couldnt get used to the "cat-free" environment. All Hubby has to do is whisper, "Git the kitty" and Marsh goes into a frenzy of barking and searching even though there isn't a cat in miles. Occasionally he sees cats in rest areas, etc and will take after one in a minute if given the chance.

We came home at Christmas to find our 5 yr old granddaughter Erin had a new kitty named Skittles. Everyone was worried about how Marsh and the kitty would get along and my daughter cautioned the kids AND my husband not to say anything about a KITTY since that seems to be the "trigger". You cant even say "Here kitty kitty" without a barking fit.

All was fine for a few days, Marsh and the cat sniffed each other and the kitten tried to play with Marsh and he allowed it! Before long they were chasing each other around the house in play. Then it finally happened, my 8 yr old grandson Alex called "here kitty kitty". Marshall was standing right beside the kitten but instead of turning to chase the kitten he started barking wildly, jumped onto the couch to look outside for a cat.

Apparently Marsh expected all C.A.T.'s to be bigger than him and couldnt figure out Skittles was one.

He even looks confused in the picture. Now there is 2 different cats and apparently he has lost all sense of what a cat really is, lol.
