New trucks don't require any real special break-in, other than what they recommend in the manuals. I would not push things too hard during the first 20k miles, and do an initial oil change at 10k miles. Just about all trannies and rears use synthetic fluids now, and don't require attention other than checking levels up till the 100k mile mark or so. Make sure the U-Joints are kept well lubed, and keep track of how much oil the engine is initially using, it should decrease as the engine breaks in. Watch the coolant level at first to make sure it doesn't drop too. After the first few thousand miles, check to make sure the hose clamps and other outside fasteners are tight. Other than those simple things, there is nothing special you need to do.
Drive safely,
UT
