Sitting in front of my 'puter faxing a employment application for a 'local / regional' gig I heard about.

I'm sitting here with the ac set on "Deep Freeze" just having a great time.
It's a balmy 68* here, slight breeze. Kinda chilly out actually. I noticed the leaves on the walnut tree out front are starting to change and drop off. :wow: That means that fall isn't too far off. Where'd summer go? :wtf:

Yea Dave doing nothing just sitting here listening to drivers complaining & telling me they don't want to go to NY CITY. But the funny part is when you ask were they want to go they say anywhere. go figure. :harhar:

I'm still in Dallas, as they couldn't get enough rental cars for all the drivers (and their stuff) to go to Lincoln, NE for the remainder of our orientation.

They are getting a truck ready for me to go haul some loads for a few days until I get to Lincoln. They did pay me for layover, and for a motel room for tonight while letting me use a truck to get around in. :)

Was kinda scary earlier today- knowing that I don't do well around the smell of cigarettes or smoke, they went to look at a truck that was to be assigned to me. Not only did it reek like an ashtray, they said that it had mega piles of dog hair in it everywhere! :yikes: :yikes: They're cleaning up & detailing another one for me, and I should be ready to roll out of here tomorrow morning.

No offense against smokers, but it seems some find it too difficult to crack open a window when they light up! :angry:

Im finally home in Perrysburg NY :D

Taking a couple of days to close up the pool and camper.
I guess Ill have to pull the boat out of the pond too.. :angry:
my boys and nephews love to go out in it to fish but forget to
take it out of the water(what a mess).
