No, I'm not going to be 'thin skinned', but I also will not put up with him calling our female members 'Lot Lizzards', even though he didn't mention any names.

Big Dave says he hit the wrong key but it looks like if you post a little critisism his way he just can't take the heat.You know Big Dave, sometimes the truth hurts.You say these kids are truck drivers but you can bet the truck you drive that 99% of them have never driven a truck across the street, much less across the country. Pump the numbers up. In the long run if this site isn't anything more than a CHAT ROOM real drivers will get sick of it and move on to whereever they can find adult conversation and informational postings.Good luck in your new position Big Dave and keep up the censorship. What great insite have you come up with lately?? As far as I can see you've only managed to kiss some arse and bring a whole lot of unemployed Wannabees and OTHERS shall we say to the table so far. You can't really have us believe you came up with that whole article on NEWBIES by yourself can you.Show us all the great things you have to offer the everyday trucker and then we'll talk. In the mean time if you can't take the hate and discontent maybe you should get your little band of unemployed,undereducated,driver wannabees and go elsewhere. Leave this site to the Professional drivers.

First, I didn't kiss anybody's backside. I was asked by several members of the staff to come here. I think that maybe you're jealous that you weren't asked.

Second, I asked the other Moderators for their input on the 'list' you refer to. Then I waded through the information and put it all together.

Third, I'm just a regular truck driver, nothing special about me. I offer advice if I can to those that ask. I've been wrong at times, but at least I can admit it.

Redeye, I've seen alot of guys like you on the road at truck stops, and heard `em on the CB. They are constantly whining and complaining about the trucking industry and using the CB as a place to use every 4 letter word they know, or what you call adult conversation. I don't call that professional, I call it ignorant. A true professional is a part of the solution, not a part of the problem.

Preacher-First let me say congrats on your CDL test at school WELL DONE , you should be proud of yourself and have every right to be!! Second I am not the one here doing the swearing and only turn on the CB when coming into traffic or upon an accident. The CB these days is just too filled with dribble. I was told by another trucker at a truckstop that this was an interesting site with alot of interesting articles and useful information. It was just that until yesterday when it was invaded by a bunch of kids who have NO useful info just more dribble to occupy themselves with. If you go back and look at some of the stuff they have to say I think you would have to agree that they are merely talking amongst themselves. I admit I've been gone all week and I shouldn't make hasty judgements. I'm sorry if that is the case here. I just want to keep this forum open and informative without name calling or poop slingin'. There may be some wannabes here, but the wannabes may someday become the guy or gal parked next to you at the truck stop in his or her nice shiney rig. Let's all remember that we were wannabes at some point. Those of us who are seasoned veterans and profesionals should try to mentor the wannabes. That way when the time comes that they actually become drivers, that they don't set a bad example of truckers to the general public at large.

This site was set up for EVERYONE to enjoy, not just the folks you deem worthy. I could give a crap less about the rest of the BS in your posts, (we get used to it on message boards) but I'll stand against you when you start bad mouthing newbies and asking them to leave when you, in fact, have no say in the matter.
