Ladies,

I never wore a dress or a skirt while driving.

My stock uniform was my wranglers and sandals, always, even during the winter. Not a real "dressy-dress" kinda person.

Somehow dresses and a flatbed just never seemed to be the thing to me.....lol.
Jeans and T-shirts were always my standards. I had boots and sneakers and a pair of beat up old flip-flops that I kept to slip on if I was jumping out for any reason just for a few minutes. In the summer it was shorts and T-shirts.

I saw the wildest thing the other day, while waiting at a guard shack. USF driver in front of me gets out to open the trailer doors for the guard... IN A 3-PIECE BUSINESS SUIT! Tie and all!

:wtf:

I always carried a mid-calf length skirt with matching blouse, with flat dress sandals, to wear on a few occassions just to feel feminine on the outside as I did on the inside.... Sometimes it was my after shower 'get up' to wear while eating and back to truck where I'd change back to jeans and tees or buttoned shirts.... I have driven brief distances in that attire before deciding to change when I had to pull off for some other reason....

I'm quite cautious as there are some places I would prefer to look as harden and tough and alert, as I can....more as a means for self preservation and protection....

I bought a pair of all leather moccs at Bridges on I-85 in Alabama. Really love them. I use them for quick slipping into to make runs from sleeper berth to T/S bathroom and back.....Otherwise some Harley boots or Timberland hikers were my 'soles' of choice.

i have worn a sundress in the truck oh so comfy. no binding in the waist .she was brave to wear white around the truck. if i wore white i would find every little spot of fifth wheel grease and dirt. my basic stuff is jeans and t shirts. sneakers flip flops and i keep one pair of winter boots in the truck.

Back when I was OTR, I always carried a skirt and nice blouse and panty hose and high heels to wear when laying over and going out to eat at a nice place, but not to drive in.
