My trip to the north woods of MN

Took a trip up to Bemidji MN today (9/16/05). I wish my wife would've rode along today. It was definately a beautiful day for a ride. :cool:

Left the plant at 6:30 am, arrived in Bemidji at 11:45 am.

Departed Bemidji at 1:15 pm, arrived back in Mankato at 6:30 pm.

I've always loved the north woods of Minnesota and some day I'd like to own a parcel of land with a small lake in the middle of it. It'd be a nice place to make a retirement home or hunting shack.

The following pics were taken on the way up on MN Hwy 371 and US Hwy 2 between Pine River MN and Bemidji MN.
