Wanna see what a tazer does to a human when they get hit with one?
Be forewarned, there is some graphic language.
If you are using dial up, click on it just before bed and watch it when you wake up. :p It's about 13 mb.

They had the special TAZED and CONFUSED on COPS tonight. It was hilarious. I hope we get them soon. After you get one or 2 and they tell their friends, compliance will come easier I think.
You have to remember that if a person is on PCP and other various drugs it may not affect them. That is when you have to resort to something else. :yikes: :yikes:
It is a nice tool to have. I would take the ride to carry one.

When we were issued tazers last year we all had to take a "hit" as part of our training!! WOW what a experience. I have had to use mine several times and it is very effective to say the least.

We started using tasers about 4 years ago and they work well MOST of the time. I am not certified on the taser because I do not have a need and I also refuse to be subjected to it in training. I do not need to be shot with my 40 cal Glock to know that it will put a hole in me.
Everyone who is certified loves them. We have over 100 Tasers issued to our districts and they are asking for more. I think they are a great tool and have observed them in use several times. The only failure I witnessed was a large male who was tazed twice and still pulled a gun and managed to fire a round at us before he was shot. The autopsy revealed that he had a large amount of drugs and alcohol in his system. Please be careful and expect the unexpected. Be Safe.
