I have OOIDA insurance and in the past would have twice a year my Windshields replaced.
So now this spring I decided to get the pitted and scratch glass replaced.
How ever, since Jan of this year a new policy ruling is in effect.
Now you have to pay a 25% deductible. Not to bad.
My deductable is $91 bucks for having both done.
Kind of unexpected but still cheaper than paying 100%.
Does any one else get surprised by their insurance company like this?
Dave,,,, you only have to worry about fenders , right?

Fenders................you funny guy! :p
Seriously, I couldn't tell ya about any changes in our 'glass' policy. I'd have to ask.
In the pasy, I've always just paid to have them changed. There's a glass shop near my home that does them for $90 per window (cost of windshield), plus $20 labor each.
Usually in and out in an hour or so.
judging by the back of your truck you need to worry more on your backside then your finders

Some clown took out my left fender last July. Took almost 6 months for them to pay so I could get 'em fixed.
2 months later, some lady tried to drive under the front of my truck at 60 mph.
2 pair of new fenders twice in less than 9 months. :yikes: :wtf:
Still waiting for the chance to get back to the body shop so I can get the bumper and lights replaced.
more like you tryed to yank a tree out with the pete lol

Just put a pair in the ol IH in feb. Cost 175 with the new gasket(gasket cost more than the glass!) did it myself took an hour and a half...kind of a pain but not impossible.usually you can get them cash and carry for less than most deductables....if you have the time , tools & patience to put them in. Be safe, Dennis
don't know why work for ih's cost more then meer body work for a freightliner
i will stay with freightliners and macks
