Ok, I need everyone's help.

Seeing as my parents do ALOT of traveling. Mom would like to buy Dad a GPS for Christmas, he's so damn spoiled. Yes, I took after my mom in that aspect, I have a bad tendency to spoil certain people, I'm really trying to get over that! :D

Any ideas you can give me would be great.... What is good? How much? Where can I find it? etc.....

Thanks

A friend of my dad's from Texas has one in his motorhome. Not connected with the Laptop. Does that help? I am somewhat clueless. I know how they work and all, but what to get and what kind :noclue:

Laptop versions have a all maps in the software, some of the handheld ones you have to load certain maps or states if you're traveling out of state, some what annoying and they are more expensive. Check out the Miscrosoft Streets and Trips 2006 w GPS locator.

Ok that helps. Go to Camping World ( a wally world chain version for RV'ers ) or whatever verison they have in your parents area. They may have units that have campgrounds and such programed in it. It also boils down how much your Mom is willing to spend. ;) ;)
