Truck Stop was sold 5 weeks ago. Old owner’s last day was 6am last Monday, he locked doors and left. (He’s been retired for a couple years now.) New owners put up no signs anywhere stating the Truck Stop is closed for 6 weeks while they remodel it.
There were barricades across the driveway (with a small opening to allow people to get in and work) but truck drivers ran them all over and it’s just a stack of wood now. They are allowing trucks to park and sleep there so far. There are lots of drivers driving over to the Truck Stop expecting to find it open only to find the doors looked.
Like I said; there are no signs anywhere stating the Truck Stop is closed and when it will reopen! (Local newspaper says it will open under new ownership about December 1.)
