Neesy, I left because I was sick of being jumped on every time I posted something that was close to my heart and was told over and over again that I was stupid cuz I LOVE trucking. Well, I spent too many years taking that kind of crap from a husband to put up with it on an Internet forum. I go over and check in once in a while but leave no dirty shoe tracks behind. I want to and will live a peaceful life. When it stops being peaceful, I will move on. There are still quite a few folks over there that I really like.
And now, after too long, I am about to re-enter the industry. Just how do you think that would go over on the RT over there? Sorry but I just can't take that risk. I never once said I HATE TN.

Very well said, Foxy, and understood.

I have been laying low pretty much, almost all the way around, 'cept in the private forums, for the same reason. Needing no harassment.

I was just speaking my mind above, and surely meant no offense by it. Just had to get it out, I suppose.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do that. :)

No one should chastise you for speaking your heart and mind, and I am sorry (on a personal level) that you had to go through that. I didn't know.

La Neese, we talked about this last weekend.

Most of us met on that "other" board, I realize that.

When that board became infested with trolls & troublemakers from the "I Hate Trucking" crowd & nothing was done about it by the forum's administration soon enough, then it's easy to see why so many people flocked to this board like they did.

It's one thing for someone to express their opinions about something, but to do so with the intent & manner of attacking others who enjoy what they do is uncalled for.
