Last night my daughter was going through a box of pictures that we have laying around. She'd find old pics of when we were all younger and then she'd show them to me and Deb.

We all got a lot of laughs and had the chance to reflect on some good memories of the past.

She also found a few pics of some of the vehicles I've owned in the past.

These were the ones that I've had the most fun with. Whether it be customizing, off roading or whatever.

My 66 Chevy pickup. 2wd, Hi-performance 350 4 bolt main, 3 speed (on the column). I wanted to try to keep the truck looking close to original but yet go like a bat outta hell. It did! Thanks to some dipstick with no license or insurance, I no longer have this classic ride.

My 69 Pontiac Firebird. I dropped a Hi-performance 389 4bbl and 4 speed out of a wrecked 66 GTO in it. The speedo went to 160 mph. The fastest I ever took it was 145 mph on 31W past the Ft. Knox KY airfield. The body was kinda rough but definately restorable.

My 76 Chevy Blazer. 350 4 bolt main slightly modified, heavy duty 4 speed w/ 'granny low'. GM corporate 12 bolt w/ limited slip in the rear. Dana 44 w/ Detroit Locker up front. 3.73 ratios in both. By the time I got done with it, it had 35" Ground Hawgs, an 8" suspension lift, 2" body lift, lightbar w/ 8 KC daylighters on top, 'cow catcher' on the front w/ 2 more KC daylighters and 2 Unity fog lights. Midland 23 channel cb w/ twin 48" firesticks.

This brings back memories, from a time, when it didnt matter, what your ride looked like, just so it was yours, and could burn rubber..

Like the 69 Firebird Dave...would make a fine candidate, for restoration.
