Just completed my 3rd round to CA and back draggin the reefer wagon.

Overall, it wasn't too bad.

On the outbound load, I fingerprinted 2 of 3 drops and made an extra $70 for doing it. Not 'big $$$', but at least it goes in my pocket instead of the company that ordered the stuff.

I still haven't figured out what kind of racket they got going. I mean, they order the stuff, pay for it. Now they want $$$ to unload 'their' product? :wtf: Oh well, no $$$ out of my pocket.

1st drop I took the top 2 layers off 5 skids and stacked them on 2 empty pallets, $40 for that.

2nd drop I pulled 1 pallet off the trailer, $30 for that one.

Last drop I let the lumpers deal with. I wasn't about to unload and stack 1300 cases of floor loaded pork loins on pallets. The company paid $120 for the lumpers.

I reloaded oranges, grapes and carrots (3 pick ups) for La Crosse & Eau Claire WI. The receivers gladly unloaded everything in short order.

I'm pissed at dispatch for giving the broker my cell phone number. Damn broker called me 7 times Thursday & Friday. 2 times Saturday and 5 times yesterday. :wtf:  It seemed like they were calling every 20 minutes to see where I was at. :wow: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
