I was just skipping around and saw a thread over on another forum that got my interest. I don't ever recall seeing a woman wearing a dress while driving a rig, but ...

... there was that really warm night 10 or so years ago when I was working midnight and was bored, so I set up to work some radar and this tractor trailer goes by just a flying, was up in the 80s, and I took out after it and stopped it and found this really drop dead gorgeous blonde getting out the drivers side with log book and permit book wearing a pair of cut off "Daisey Duke" style jean shorts and a red halter top! She met me at the rear of the trailer, so I let her sit in the car while I "did my duty" (yeah, I wrote it), and she casually mentioned that she was just making up time after spending the whole evening working on her back. I stopped writing and looked over her way, scarcely believing what I heard and she looked up ... and said "No, not that!, I had to fix my crossover line. I have coveralls, and all" then she showed me the grease still accumulated under her fingernails where she hadn't gotten it all out. I believe her, it was just "how it sounded".

... then there was that time up at a local gas station where it was like 90 degrees and a buddy and I were taking a break when we saw this car come in and a very attractive young mother of two small children (well, she had two small ones with her????) get out and come in after fueling and she gets a soda, etc, pays for gas, and starts to leave and then turns and comes over to where we are standing there. She's wearing a short skirt type outfit that really fit her well. She asked us if she could ask a question (why do people ask if they canm ask a question when they could save a question by just asking the one they want to ask in the first place???). She wanted to know why some trucks are going slow, and then when she gets up beside them, they speed up and just ride there for miles. I looked at my buddy, he grins, and then I ask her if she's serious?
She said she was, so I told her bluntly "Mam, you are a very atractive young lady, and you are wearing a short skirt, and when you get alongside a truck, the driver can look right down into your vehicle and he sees something he enjoys looking at, after all, he has maybe been on the road for a week or longer."
She blushed, really seemed genuinely embarassed, and I added that if she didn't want that reaction, to wear slacks or drape a lightweight blanket across her lap. She said that she shouldn't have to do that, that truck drivers shouldn't be looking away from the road like that, and I said "You're right, but boys will be boys."
She then adjusted her attitude, and thanked me. She said she never thought of it that way, and then she changed into slacks before she left the station that day.

Take care out there, sorry :harhar: .... don't have no pics!

Women wearing dresses while driving trucks?
Better the woman then a man.
:D :D

Your stories above remind me of a time my best friend stopped a lady one night for speeding. Being the straight arrow hard azz he is, he walks up to the car ask for license and registration without noticing anything else about the young lady.

While she hands them to him he notices she maybe crying. He being himself says when you get yourself together come back to the car and park yourself in the passengers seat. (That was back then most cops would bring the violator back to the car when they wrote them a ticket)

Well ole Lloyd is just writing away when the young lady gets is. And Lloyd about died. She was wearing a pink nightie that showed more then he wanted to see if he wanted too! He was wondering what the hey?
He’s says “ma’am why are you driving around like that”?

It turned out she had a stupid old drunkin boyfriend that was trying to break into her house and she ran out the back door wearing what she had on in bed and was hauling it for her momma’s house.
Lloyd radio the other officer on duty and he a Bill go to her house to check things out and hopefully find old drunk boyfriend. I can’t remember if they did but Bill about died when Lloyd walked up with the nice lady in tow.

You LEO's will probably get a kick out of this. It falls in with these posts pretty good. I'm also a firefighter & 1st responder when I'm home(vol), and one night, I had gotten in off the road about 8pm, got supper & a shower, and off to bed. About 2:15am, the pager goes off. We got a structure fire on the other side of town, I head for the bathroom to throw water in my face and get dressed, and my wife nukes me a cup of coffee, and hands it to me on my way out the door. About 2:30 I roll up to the house, bail out & get my gear on. Its about 40% involved(burning) and as I start in the front door with a hoseline, I am met by a young woman coming out, and she is buck naked. Once I get over the surprise, I take her over to my van, and seated her in it, and fought the fire for the next 1 & 1/2hrs with no turnout coat. It turned out that she was in the shower, when the fire broke out. The funny part, though, was about an hour after I got there, my wife showed up with a thermos of coffee for me, and asked me, just why there was a naked woman in my van!

I've seen 1 woman wearing a dress / skirt while driving.

I was on my way home from the Twin Cities one morning and had stopped at the McDonalds in Jordan MN.

After getting my breakfast, I went back to my truck and was eating it and watching the news.

I had seen a woman wearing a long jean skirt and walking a dog when I was walking inside a few minutes before, but didn't think anything of it.

Well, I had blocked a truck in when I parked. :noclue: I figured that 'he' (the driver) was taking a nap and since I was only gonna be there a few minutes, no big deal.

Turns out it was HER truck that I had blocked and now she was ready to leave. :HMM: :wow:

Kinda blew my mind that she was the driver AND the fact that she was wearing a long jean skirt. :wow:
