I saw a really stupid driver that thought he was superman.

He backed to the dock with his city trailer. Came upon the dock and stood by the door his trailer was in.
The fork lift driver asked if the trailer was blocked.

NO was the answer. Fork lift driver said it had to be blocked.

Now get this .

This driver grabbed the edge of the trailer and the post by the door and held on and said I got it, go ahead ,it won't move.

He was deadly serious about him being able to keep the trailer from moving when that fork lift entered it..

The fork lift driver just drove away and put the bills in the rack and did something else.

Superman couldn't see what was wrong.

He got upset and I told him , see that sign. ALL TRUCKS MUST BE BLOCKED . That sign was on the out side of the building and on the dock for all to see.
He thought because he had a 28 footer and only about half loaded he was not required to do that. He figured that was for the Big trailers.

He thought also that TRUCKS , didn't mean trailers.
I had a hard time explaining that trucks meant everything that bumped the dock.

And we share the streets and roads with these people.
