I know that nearly each day someone gives you LEO's crap. I for one want to thank you for being there for us no matter if you a State Trooper or a City Kitty or a County Mounty. You are needed and appreciated.

Most people rebel at authority and truckers are not exempt from it. I hate to think what this country would be like with out dedicated informed, trained LEO's .

The few that are less than honest do tend to give the rest a black eye but this is in any proffession including trucking. I am glad it is not as prevelant as in trucking.

I know it is not easy to stay calm in the face of ridicule and threats and just plain stupidity. And in come cases a straight face.

So to each and every one of you THANKS FOR BEING THERE FOR US.

Thank You Nitestar!!!

People like to think that the Police are just out to give you a hard time, but that is not the case. I don't know about every agency, but the one I work for we take pride in doing a good job and take every opportunity to help those that "pay our salary." Sure there are some that take their authority to far, but that is everywhere.

We are there when you are sleeping and awake and in my case I was there when some where enjoying Thanksgiving with their families and I will be there at 7pm on Christmas night.

We had a saying that we said throughout the academy and it was "it's what we do." To me it is more than a job. It is an opportunity to give back to the citizens. I challenge each and every one of you to take a ride along with your local Police or Sheriff Department and get a feel of what it is like on our side. Hell, you may have a career change, or a new found respect for what it is we do day in and day out.

Thanks again.

I have the deepest respect for all of you LEOS too. Every time I have ever been stopped by an officer, I have always tried to be as nice as I can. That attitude has gotten me out of tickets a time or two. The way I look at it, ya'll have a job to do just like we all do. Thanks to all of you.

You are WELCOME. As far as I am concerned, you can't get a better job. Never a dull moment, Good pay, great hours and time off, and I get to work with my "best friend" every day.
