I'm home until the 5th of January. Although I will be taking the trailer into Omaha for some repairs. While I'm there, I'll be looking at a trailer to see if it's worth buying, or not.

Have I said I am on vacation this week?
Well I am.

Not getting much done, and don't care to get anything done.
We get to use the shooting range down the road 1 hour a day this week. The boys and I are trying out our new toys.

Ordered parts and tires for the 4-wheeler that'll be in by the end of the week. Then oldest son will get one of those talks we dads give after they tare up something!

My birthday is today. Wife and I was planning on a night out. But, her 96-year-old grandmother's health went way south last week, and it's the wife's night tonight to take care of her. Sadly, grandma's days on this earth are about to end.

Yeah they come faster and faster the older you get. I hope I have them for at least another 50 years or so. I have a long list of people I need to bother before I go!

I'm here in Dallas (finally stopped slacking). I'm sitting here at the US Cold actually in Arlington. They said it'll be a few hours. Looked like there was only 4 people for the whole place. :wtf:

Trucks were lined up like crazy and some nimcompoop in a cabover with a extended catwalk thingy decided he was going to block the drive to where NOONE could barely get around him.

Anywho, I got my permits today and told Theresa that I needed something out west. Well.........I got a p/p for Scottsdale, Az. About dang time I get off the east coast!!!

Hopefully loads pick up. They keep telling the drivers that there is a shortage. I can understand that, but don't people eat? Don't they drink? Don't they need clothes?

Something fishy in the state of Arkansas. :wtf:

Cool!! Here's hoping she and gives you Healthy, beautiful Grandchild!! Do you have any grandchildren yet?/

I can't wait for the time when my girls are old enough to give me a few grandkids.( Just so they don't give me one for the next 10 years or so, as they are only going to be 14 and 16 in February!!) But that is how I plan on getting back at both my daughters, by spoiling the living hell outta my grandkids, and then sending them home for my daughters and their husbands to deal with it!!

Congrats to you Foxy

We finally got a load assigment, (after waiting for 18 hrs) we go and pick it up in Laredo, i notice a huge bolt in 3rd axle tire pass side, so my brother leaves flatbed at De Acero yard while we attempt to get tire fixed, Swift tire shop advises it will be ready by tomorrow, so we flip a b***h and head right back to shipper. We strap load and we're told we need 5 more straps, but he told us we on our own, that it was secure but recommend 5 more. My brother now decides to return to Swift yard to request more straps, "the guy who issues themwill return tomorrow at 8 am) it about 5 pm now. we come out of showers and tire is fixed. Tomorrow morn, we will finish securing load and then spend about an hour tarping so he can make and extra $23. Even though we gonna have to remove them and retarp after every stop. (3 stops) Abilene, TX, Trinidad, Co and Lamar, CO. sorry so long. next one i'll try to make it a short 1.
