Need to figure out how to file share using a direct connect 1394 cable.
I've managed to share a couple of folders, but would like to setup my 2 computers where I can share all files...

Any computer geek out here ?

Andy if your computer has XP it has file sharing on it , but you may have to turn it on.

do you have them hooked up together or seperate??

are you using windows or DOS to open files..
