What do you like to do?

I know most drivers like to take a break and wind down... but, after that what do you like to do.

Do you take time with the kids and spouse?

Go to Ball Games?

Have Picnics?

Fill us in on what you liek to do with the family... or without them ;)

Being a company line haul driver my routine is daily.

I spend the first hour seeing the kids get ready for school and having breakfast, the second hour on this dang computer, third hour nick nacking around the house then off to bed. Up in four or five hours, take care of the big things, if any, time with the wife, see kids again before dinner, a short nap and back to work.

Weekends are out doors if nice otherwise this dang thing again.

Usually, the night I come home I curl up in front of my nice warm computer with a bottle of Jim Beam and unwind. That takes anywhere from 2 hours to 12 hours. :yikes:

In the summer, I'll do a quick check of email and then we spend the nice evenings talking out on the patio and BBQ'ing. Usually this goes on for many hours.

I try to spend time with my daughter, but she's 17 and almost always 'on the go' somewhere.

Playing with my dogs is a high priority also.

On the 2nd day, I usually get up at the crack of noon. :D Then we run errands, pay bills, do lawn work, fix whatever's broken, etc.

3rd, 4th, 5th days are filled with whatever my wife dreams up for me to do. :D :harhar:

Oh yeah, ya oughta hear some of the excuses I make to get on the 'puter. :yikes:

I try to make sure that all work is done on the truck before I get home. I carry my tools with me. So, I can spend time with the three women IF they are not on the go, which they ussually are. We try to make time for stuff, when I'm home, but with the girls being 22 and 15, They are almost always doig something, ball games & such. And then when we do get it all together, things are quite likely to be interupted if the pager goes off. Cause when home, I'm on the Fire Dept. But, its funny, cause when that happens, of course, I go to the fire or wreck, and my wife and girls go to the Fire Station, and guess what, when we get in from the call, we have fresh coffee and sandwiches waiting! And then we ussually spend the next few hrs there, unless there's another call.
