Don't know 'bout buyin' no steaks, but I'm in Dallas and headed for Salt Lake to deliver Friday morning.

I'll be "camped out" at the Applebee's (I-40 X20, by Wal-Mart) in Gallup, NM tomorrow (Wednesday) night if you manage to get there!

I doubt most normal people would go 250 miles out of route and incur all that unneccessary driving in the mountains. I now see why companies have to "route" their drivers. :harhar:

Take out a map and draw a line from Spokane to Texarkana and you will see how far out of route your way is.

I would have to agree with big al. And the other way has u going through the middle of Dallas when u can take the 114 to the 635 to the 30 and avoid the center of the city, unless you like traffic. Just a thought. Its like when u going to OR through CA, why take the 10 to the 5 when you can go around the whole deal and take the 215 through San Bernardino to Palmdale and mee tup at the 5 again and still avoid that 35 mph in the mountains by Pyramid lake. :brightidea:

114,635,30vs.820,183,30................traffic is more or less the same at any given time so its really moot.

Personal preference fills the gap.
