hey guys!!!
i am thinking about slowly starting my own trucking business. me and my best friend who have good business knowledge of the industry and buisness in general. we both have expeirence in flatbed and i also have reefer experience. what we are looking for is some advice. we are looking to run hard and not slack off for 5 years and eventuly take or company profits and turn around and purchase more trucks. but we cant figure out is either to do flatbed or reefer/van, we want to know where a team will work out better. we do relaize that a team operated flatbed truck wont do good running 700 miles over night. we are hoping to get 6000 miles a week average. we also are debating either to lease onto a good company from the get go or to go out and get our own authority from the get go. oh yeah and if any sucessfull o/o ever gets thru davenport, iowa drop me a line and ill buy a meal for some good solid advice.
